The following flood event animations capture specific areas along the Hudson River, inluding Albany, Kings Point, NY Harbor, and Poughkeepsie. Although a particular event causes an X-year flood to occur at one location it may result in no flooding at another, so each location’s panel may show a different type of storm event. Some events are rainfall-dominated, some storm surges, some nor’easters, and some hurricanes.
